We strive to meet our Puppy Families' desires in terms of their ideal puppy, although we believe that temperament and personality should be the primary factors in permanent home placement. We screen all of our puppies over a period of many weeks to determine suitability in different home situations, and, as we want our Puppy Families to be happy with the puppy they are adopting, we will work with you personally on this selection.
We want you to follow the development of your puppy's litter each week as they grow and learn, and will post regular updates and photos on our FaceBook page and on our Puppies page after they are born.
We have a planned puppy playdate when the puppies reach 5-6 weeks of age, so that you can visit all of the puppies and mom too if she is feeling up to it.
At 7 weeks each puppy is given a complete health exam by our Veterinarian. We will do a final assessment of temperament and conformation at 7 1/2 to 8 weeks, which is the age at which both of these factors are most effectively evaluated. If there is a puppy that we choose for our breeding program, that is when we will decide. The puppies are then matched with their new families based on our evaluation of the puppies temperament in conjunction with the adoptive families preferences stated in the applications, email correspondence and phone conversations.
Payment in full is required by check (including 7.75% CA sales tax) 10 days before pickup date or in cash when puppy is picked up. The puppies will be microchipped, given a medical examination, and then made available to their new owners at 8 weeks of age.
We work very hard to find the best fit for our puppy and your family. When the puppies are born, we will know color and gender availability and will contact families regarding the availability of their selection. Flexibility on any of the selection factors greatly improves the likelihood of there being a puppy for your family!
The application will help us select the best puppy for your home. So that we can best assess your desires, we welcome your phone call...after you submit the application. If you have not heard from us in 48 hours, please email or call us directly at (714) 485-3627, in case of email problems. Please state clearly if you are unwilling to accept a puppy of a different gender and color than you indicate on your application.
Please feel free to call (between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM PST) should you have questions on our puppy allocation process.
With the continued development of the Australian Labradoodle bred by the two research and development centers in Australia, Tegan Park and Rutland Manor, the Australian Labradoodle has become a desired breed for many reasons. The characteristics that Tegan Park and Rutland Manor have been selectively breeding and developing for years, combined with a program of stringent health guidelines and standards – were all qualities that were important to us as a family with allergies.
After researching the breed, it became apparent to us that the Australian Labradoodle was the breed for our family. With the time and effort in development by Tegan Park and Rutland Manor and continued careful quality breeding, the Australian Labradoodle has become a breed that is noted for its high intelligence, asthma and allergy friendliness and no to low shedding, easy trainability, excellent and loyal family companions and eagerness to please. Combine all this with excellent health and fantastic temperaments and you have the dog we love!
Testing breeding age adults can drastically reduce the chances of a puppy having congenital hip problems. All of our parents have their hips x-rayed by our veterinarian and evaluated by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). We guarantee all of our puppies for a full 2 years!
Our dogs are fed top quality dog food. They receive ample outdoor playtime and exercise in our beautiful Southern California sunshine and we make sure they become well socialized through frequent contact with family & friends.

Each puppy receives individual training and socialization with children and adults along with other dogs to ensure a smooth transition into their new homes.
We will perform the Volhard puppy temperament test. This test assesses the puppy's sociability, sensitivity, cooperativeness, energy level, trainability, intelligence, assertiveness, and stability. The test is done when the puppies are 49 days old. This is when the puppies are neurologically complete and have the brain of an adult. The Volhard helps us place the right puppy with the right family. The personality and strengths of the puppy are matched to the adoptive family's life style.
Our puppies are also exposed to early neural stimulation during the first week after birth. This stimulation enhances the trainability of the puppy. Addition, our puppies are exposed to early crate training, car rides and basic potty training along with the sights and sounds of a busy household. Our puppies are never raised in an outbuilding or an isloated area. They are always housed in the hub of the house.
You will love our puppies!
