At Shady Creek Australian Labradoodles, breeding is more than a program — it’s a calling rooted in a lifelong love of dogs. I’m Nikki Reed, and alongside my family, I have been intentionally raising Australian Labradoodles since 2018 with a deep commitment to health, beauty, and exceptional temperament.

My journey began with childhood allergies and a search for a dog I could truly live comfortably with. What I found in the Australian Labradoodle was more than a non-shedding coat — it was an intelligent, joyful, deeply devoted companion whose presence transforms a home.

Each puppy we raise is nurtured with purpose and care, prepared not just to join a family, but to become part of its story. Our hope is simple: that every Shady Creek puppy brings lasting comfort, connection, and joy for years to come.

Our breeding dogs undergo extensive health testing to meet the Gold Paw standard of the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA). This ensures you receive a healthy, happy dog with proper socialization training.

We adhere to the strict guidelines and standards set by the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA), which is why our breeding dogs undergo the following extensive health testing:

  • Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) hips and elbows testing
  • Patellas
  • FA Eye Certification exams (previously “CERF” exams)
  • Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) profiling
  • Microchipping
  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) testing
  • And more
